<p>Originally the bean is from the American continent.<br />
The bean produced in La Granja is called  the Spanish Bean (Phaseolus coccineus).<br />
There is a likeness between the beans of La Granja and Vulgaris.</p>
<p>The Judion de la Granja takes advantage by being cultivated in a very good exploitation farm close to the mountain chain of Guadarrama. Which involves an abundance of water from several streams for a rich soil.</p>
<p>This vegetable contains vitamins A and B, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron and carbohydrate. A perfect nutrition wholefood. The ratio is 100 grams for 85 beans.<br />
Its flavour is unrepeatable, it must be eaten quite firm. It melts in the mouth with a flavour and a delightful savour.</p>

<p>1 Kilo of judiones (beans) worth 12 portions.<br />
Emplace the judiones in a casserole-pressure cooker.</p>
<p>-	Soak the beans 24 hours before</p>

<p>100 gramos de judiones de La Granja  por persona.</p>
<p>1/2 cebolla grande, también queda bien con cebolleta.</p>
<p>1 Hoja de Laurel</p>
<p>3 o 4 ajos enteros ( enteros)</p>
<p>Aceite de oliva virgen.</p>
<p>Vinagre</p>
<p>Sal</p>
<p><strong>Elaboración:</strong></p>
<p>Ponemos los judiones 12 horas antes en agua para posteriormente ponerlos a cocer en agua con sal el laurel y los ajos. Con suficiente agua como para que queden cubiertos y por lo menos un dedo más. Se  pone a fuego fuerte hasta que empiecen a cocer y en ese momento se pone a fuego lento para que cueza despacio retiramos la espumilla de la superficie. Si hubiera necesidad de añadir agua que esta sea caliente. Cuando comprobemos que están cocidos escurrimos el agua y aliñamos con aceite de oliva y vinagre como una ensalda de lechuga. Se añade la cebolla debidamente pelada y cortada en juliana.</p>
